Biography
Born in Florence, SC, Will Geddings has practiced law at Hays Cauley, P.C. since 2010. As a long time consumer advocate, Will is passionate about providing vigorous representation to individuals throughout South Carolina who have experienced inaccurate credit reporting, harassing debt collection, automobile fraud, breach of warranty, odometer fraud, and/or have purchased a defective motor vehicle.
Will brings cases under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Truth-in-Lending Act, the Electronic Funds Transfer Act, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, the South Carolina Consumer Protection Code, the South Carolina Dealer Act, the South Carolina Unfair Trade Practices Act, and the South Carolina Uniform Commercial Code.
A lifelong South Carolinian, Will graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He currently serves as a commissioner for the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs. He lives with his wife, Xuemei, their two children, Sofie and Alexander, and their Siberian Husky, Potato.
